Kyle Selig Will Step In for She Loves Me-Bound Gavin Creel in The Book of Mormon

Kyle Selig is moving center stage at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre! The Book of Mormon vet, who has been in the Broadway company since 2013, will take over for Gavin Creel as Elder Price on January 5. Creel has departed the production to star in She Loves Me, which will begin previews on February 19.

Selig will portray Price through February 21; he made his Broadway debut in Mormon and has also appeared in the show on the road.

Written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q composer Robert Lopez, The Book of Mormon earned nine 2011 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

The Broadway company currently also includes Christopher John O'Neill as Elder Cunningham, Nikki Renee Daniels as Nabulungi and Grey Henson as Elder McKinley.
